My students live in Staten Island, NY. Our school is a high poverty school where technology is our number one priority. My students love the hands on approach. We use video, smart board technology, hands on science kits to explore the world of science. Often we look at live feeds of various places to understand what weather is like in other places. Students are inspired to use the technology. All of our science projects were completed on power point and students use the projector and smart board to present their projects, just like a professional would do in the workplace. Technology is used everyday in my classroom. Not only by myself- my students use it to present group work, their work, and explore new findings in the world.
