As my students are 1:1 with iPad devices, I often differentiate their learning using videos to help them better understand skills taught in class. We also use online programs that place the students at their "just right" instructional level, and this program offers oral readings for students. The students need headphones to help drown out sounds that may keep them from staying focused. The headphones will help my students focus on what is specifically assigned to them instead of hearing something from across the classroom. My students also listen to music while completing tasks and having headphones will allow students to listen to music of their choice. These headphones will serve lots of different purposes in our classroom.
