The Johnson and Johnson Head to Toe wipes will help students who may not have access to running water in their homes or help students who may be homeless and do not have a place to keep a lot of hygiene supplies.
The head to toe wipes enable the students to take a "mobile shower" wherever they may be living. In addition, the deodorant will help students maintain good hygiene practice.
Both the wipes and deodorant will help students improve their hygiene and may affect their self esteem so that they can be more confident and more successful in school. Their self confidence may allow the students to concentrate more on their academics without having to worry and be self conscious about their hygiene issues.
Meeting the basic needs of our students must come first before we can expect them to be successful academically. So many times the social aspect of school and students having self confidence can be directly related to their academic success. If students' minds are elsewhere worrying about issues such as hygiene or isolating themselves socially due to hygiene, they cannot be fully engaged academically. We want to try to remove as many of these barriers as possible so that our students can be successful academically and be more confident in themselves.
