A class set of twenty-five subscriptions to TIME for Kids Magazine will allow my students to tangibly read engaging current event articles and provide opportunities to make text-to-world connections to support inquiry based projects. Unfortunately, my students do not always have the opportunity to use colorful, interesting, real life texts to spring their inquiry. Currently we are working out of old textbooks and black and white copies.
