Salt Lake Center for Science Education is a Title I school. A part of our mission statement is, "To Take Healthy Risks". We strive for life long learning and to build upon creating healthy lifestyles. Our students are open and motivated to try new activities to build their character and expand their growth. We encourage physical activities to develop their strength and flexibility. One of our projects is to obtain equipment and accessories for various sports activities including yoga.
We are also focused on healthy eating and taking care of our bodies. In Nutrition we are engaging students to compile recipes and create a student cook book.
