I am going into my fifth year of teaching and third as a 7th grade math teacher, but I have never purchased nor been given content-specific classroom materials for math.
These posters are for students to be able to reference math content in a fun and memorable way. I am also looking to add some character-building encouragement to my walls, as math is a challenging subject for many children.
I am also getting new whiteboards and dry erase number lines that include negatives. Adding and subtracting into the negatives is a huge standard for 7th grade, and some students prefer physical number lines as opposed to just online resources.
