The children will be able to use these materials to explore different cultures, races and genders in this world. Having a better understanding of these differences makes us more aware of our surroundings and how people live. They will use the dolls and multicultural clothing in housekeeping to explore culture. They will make houses for the people in the block area. The cultures of the world themed box will be used during center time for the children to explore other cultures and be able to ask questions. I want to allow my preschool children an opportunity to explore culture, race and genders!
