Just as students have different ways of learning in the traditional classroom, be it visual, auditorial, kinesthetic, or verbal; students in the art room have different strengths as well. It is my belief that exposure to a wide variety of art mediums is essential to tapping into the creativity of each and every one of my students.
With the child's needs in mind, I believe gaining supplies for the students to work with 3D mediums is essential to their growth as artists and individuals. I am requesting modeling clay in a variety of colors as well as some commonly used clay tools. Modeling clay is very easy for the students to work with, you can achieve great detail, and it does well with not drying out before the project is finished.Sometimes we just need to build and shape with our hands to unlock our creative potential.
