These books will be used during our guided reading block. The goal of Guided Reading is for students to develop skills to help them read independently, silently, and fluently. Students learn reading strategies that help them with more difficult texts. Students learn appropriate questions to ask about a text. It enables students to have a conversation about the text. These games will give my students a fun and engaging way to review challenging skills as they read. These books and games will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. I want my students to find their interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word
