Students at Timber Trace Elementary represent the melting pot of America. My class in particular is a heterogeneous group of amazing students from all backgrounds. Student need vary as my class is an inclusion one. Students with varying needs are all provided the opportunity to be successful in the classroom and prepared for real life.
I would like to provide a classroom environment that is accommodating to all. Studies have shown that each person has a different learning type. The classroom layout is not always conducive to students who are kinesthetic learners. They need to move about and feel in order to learn. While others are auditory or visual learners. The students are connected to technology for the auditory and visual learners.
