Students in low income areas often lack basic classroom materials such as paper and pencils. My students have the opportunity to concentrate on their learning; they can take notes and raise their hands - your donation will help me provide the pencils, pens, and paper!
In order to make classroom assignments meaningful, they need color ink and storage to save student-made presentations and videos on historical and political research. My students need to learn how to take notes without worrying about not having materials, how to study using index cards to make flashcards, and how to organize their work.
