I teach from 25 to 37 high school students. Their need for individual attention is an ever consuming issue. The use of individual white boards lets them get actively involved in their learning and gets them excited about being right. Many of these 9th graders come from broken homes and this especially gives these students a chance to "play" with a white board and learn at the same time. They just have fun competing and end of learning with instant recognition of a job well done.
