Our school is in urban southern California in a low income neighborhood that is working to rise above the poverty and make real the possibilities of life through education and determination. Our school has 100% free lunch and we have a very ethnically diverse population that includes students from Mexico, Vietnam, Africa, and a host of other countries. Most of our students are learning English as their second language. Our students are bright, energetic and eager to learn. They just need to be given a chance at the same opportunities as other more affluent schools and these kids will soar!
