It's time for an update, and seeing as Ty Pennington is not answering my calls, it's time to roll up my sleeves and tackle the project myself!
Having been in the classroom over 25 years, many of my things are showing their age, and need an update! I would like to update, add, and/or replace some classroom teaching materials (small white board that is magnetic, light screens, small group materials, etc.) to enhance my classroom learning environment. These types of materials help my students when teaching in large and small groups in various ways. For example, by adding fluorescent light covers to my ceiling lights it decreases glare and flickering from fluorescent lights, helps in reducing headaches and eye strain caused by the lights, improves focus in classrooms, and creates a calm and relaxing environment for working and studying. The small white board serves as a moveable piece that I can use in both large and small group lessons with the kids - one that we can use together when working on math problems, phonics, etc.
Due to Covid and our ever-changing learning models, classroom money this year has gone mostly to supplies for distance and hybrid learning materials. Any teaching/classroom enhancements have taken a back-burner this year, so I would need to purchase these kinds of items out-of-pocket. This is just a small start, and any help would be greatly appreciated!
