My students enjoy playing and acting out various roles in the Dramatic Play area of our classroom. Students have opportunities to work on fine and gross motor skills when they dress the baby dolls, interact collaboratively with their peers, engage in socio-dramatic play.
The cooking materials allow students to think symbolically when they "cook" food, make healthy food choices, understand and sort food groups, take turns, share and engage in conversations with friends.
Students are learning so many life skills, and we need more materials to help them grow well!
