These snacks will allow our students to focus on their school work. I am at a high school and students do not realize the importance of nutrition at this age. Studies show that kids who eat snacks get higher grades than those who do not.
Students need snacks to keep their mind going. These snacks would allow our students to have enough energy to keep on learning throughout the day and grow their brains! If we can make sure they get a snack, they will be able to better focus and really build the fundamental knowledge necessary for them to go onto the next grade and continue to be successful throughout school.
This project is important because our students have a very long day and need some different snacks to help them stay engaged in learning.
