The students will have an opportunity to learn about coding by making the mouse move. The kit requires teamwork to build the maze and program the mouse to move through it. The classroom consists of 30 students. With two activity kits the students will have an opportunity to participate in a smaller group while working with the mazes.
The students will be able to use the kit to explore coding, be creative, promote peer interaction and problem solve. The students will be able to share successes and challenges. The students will then use the iPad to code on Code.org once they gather a better understanding of coding. This provides children access to computer science plugged and unplugged.
