Included in this Donor’s Choose request are a variety of materials that will help bring science to life for my 5th graders throughout the upcoming school year!
Weather tools like the hygrometers, and barometer will allow students to have a hands-on experience during our Weather unit, as well as the Dancing Bear rock kit for our Rocks and Minerals unit.
Also included are shower curtains which correlate with units throughout the year. These shower curtains will be hung on the back wall as a large visual to accommodate ESE students and serve as a heavy duty reference material that can be used year after year!
As the 2019-2020 school year ended, I found that the most memorable lessons throughout the year (according to my students) were the labs where they were able to work together to explore new concepts with manipulative and tools. These materials would help me expand those memorable experiences in the years to come!
