General Music is wonderful! But I strive to give my students much more! Besides our fantastic choir (of approximately 80 students), that has performed in numerous venue (including American Young Voices, Liberty Science Center, homes for the elderly, etc...), this year I am planning to share my piano knowledge on a "private" and "group" basis. I am selecting a few of my students from different grades and will work with them as private piano students during my lunch breaks and preps. I will also work with bigger groups during class time. My goal is to prepare students to play the piano, just like a private piano teacher would. For this project we would greatly benefit from classroom keyboards (so my students can practice, at least two), as well as piano sheet music.My goal is for those prepared students to perform in Carnegie Hall! I truly believe this is possible!
