This is my fifth year teaching and I am teaching a curious group of second graders who always want to know more! I want to increase student engagement through higher order questioning and teaching creatively. I believe this training will renew my teaching style and provide an experience of how to implement and promote academic rigor. The goal of this project is to spark ways for my class to dig deeper and continue a culture that promotes success! The strategies I can learn are for effective classroom management and student engagement. The spirit and culture at The Ron Clark Academy is contagious and I would love to bring that energy to my classroom.
