These resources will meet the needs of my English Language Learners by creating an instructional environment that is focused on a multi-modal approach to learning. Not only will students be able to utilize the listening center through a visual aspect, but they will also be able to access their auditory learning skills while all the while peaking their interests by the use of high interest resources/reading materials.
Howard Gardner once said, "You learn at your best when you have something you care about and can get pleasure in being engaged in." These resources embody that sentiment. Furthermore, the other resources such as the sentence rods, reading/learning kits, and Leap Frogs will also supplement and reinforce these ideals by providing our students with even more opportunities to be successful as English Language Learners.
