I have 3 math classes of 22 energetic third graders. We have a wonderful school in a family-oriented neighborhood. Our principal, staff, and parents all show a lot of passion, enthusiasm, and support. The students have tons of energy and curiosity. We try to make learning exciting and engaging because I want my students to have FUN while they learn. Some of their favorite things to do in math class include scoot, write the room, partner games, and smartboard interactive games. We are adjusting to the math Standards of Learning which are designed to raise the academic achievement of all students. Third graders enjoy a terrific combination of hard work and fun.
