Roberts Elementary is a public elementary school in Tallahassee, Florida, We currently have over 800 students in grades Pre-K thru 5th grade with varying needs and exceptionalities. I teach (45) 4th graders math and science daily. This is my 12th year teaching and my 6th year at Roberts. I have taught 11 out of the 12 years in 4th grade. I can truly say I found my niche. I have had the honor of attending The Ron Clark Academy in 2017, and became a huge fan of Hope and Wade King and their teaching practices. I am trying to raise the funds needed to attend this conference in nearby New Orleans to meet some of the best mentors in my profession. My hope is to bring back the strategies that we discuss at the conference and implement them in my classroom as well as share these with my peers at school. This opportunity is a win win for me, my students, and fellow teachers. Please consider supported me. Thank you!
