Our students come from a diversity of backgrounds and experiences. At EBIA, we highlight this diversity through an asset-based emphasis on collaboration.
We focus on helping students use their diverse perspectives to learn to work together, not just despite these differences, but by viewing this as strengths that students bring with them. Participation in fitness and team sports help to give our students the opportunity to learn about healthy conflict, learn how to strategize and work together and how to honor a variety of strengths and abilities.
Unfortunately, our budget doesn't allow for us to replace equipment or introduce new sports. Providing the funds for this equipment to introduce new sports to our student population would help allow them to learn new skills both on and off the field.
