I currently teach 32 students at a school that services 100% military students. I currently teach 4th grade. My students come to me having moved from bases all over the world. They show up with smiles on their faces and ready to learn no matter what. These kids are learning to handle situations that are out of their hands such as parents gone for weeks or months at a time. They can come to me in the middle of the year or leave in the middle of it. While their lives at home can be changing, I try to create a classroom that is stable for them and where they always feel welcomed and loved.
