These materials and supplies will support student engagement in STEAM learning. Project based learning with LEGOs encourages students to think creatively and try out new strategies. This kit will encourage even the most relevant learners to become scholars. Multiple, reuseable projects in this kit facilitate productive struggle, allowing students to revise their efforts and self-assess throughout their work. Students practice following visual directions to build moving models. The software guides students to use beginner coding to bring the model to life. Students are then asked to consider real world connections and devise solutions to solve realistic problems. Finally, students write directly into the software to record their findings, sharing their experience and finding with others.
