Our students will explore how to problem solve and create an understanding of balance, movement and other scientific inquiries through S.T.EA.M. activities. They will create buildings that balance blocks, and attempt building bridges to withstand weight as well as height. In addition discovering movement with gears while creating cars that move or cranes to lift objects. We will attempt to construct buildings that will withstand forces such as wind or ground movement. This will help students learn how forces of nature can effect communities. My students will use predictions and experiment to see the outcome and then reason how the outcome came about and create new ways to dive the problem.
