Having these math manipulatives and writing tools will help my students to create a concrete connection to the abstract ideas that they are working on. Math can be a difficult subject for many students to learn, but when given hands-on manipulatives to use the concepts become much more clear. These crayons, counting beans, and unifix cubes will be used in both whole group instruction time and focused centers time, making math an exciting time to learn and explore! Having the access to hands on activities such as unifix cubes and counting beans will help my students grasp concepts that they otherwise struggle with.
Your generous donation to our project will help my kindergarten students reach their goals in math. This will change my students lives for the better by helping them to love math and becoming life-long learners.
