I am asking for earbuds and wobble chairs for my middle school students. I teach four sections of a Literacy Strategies class for 6th and 7th grade students at two Middle schools. As part of our classroom routine, my students utilize digital reading components at their individual reading levels. They have the ability to have some of these passages read to them. In order for them to have the passages read, they need to have earbuds so as not to distract the other members of the class.
Many of my students are also high energy and have a hard time being able to focus on their work without the ability to move around. This can also be distracting to the other members of the class. The ability for these students to have a wobble chair to sit on will help them focus on their work while not distracting the rest of the class. With these materials, my students will be able to improve their reading skills and “graduate” from my class.
