Many of our club members are special needs students. The supplies received would allow students to provide others the opportunity to do basic daily grooming. They will learn how grooming helps maintain a level of health and comfort. Students will learn how to be compassionate and think about how others live who don't have the same resources. They will learn teamwork by organizing how they will assemble and deliver the care packages they are creating. They will be able to practice communication, which for many is one of their I.E.P goals. The students are integrated with general ed students, giving all students a sense of community and fostering an environment of accepting differences.
