Many of my students are from a shelter with parents that are unable to help them develop and improve their literacy skills. These resources will be a great asset to my classroom as it will allow students to develop their literacy skills independently.
Due to the frequent movement of students from temporary housing to temporary housing, many of them enter my class at different times in the school year, with many deficiencies, especially in phonics. By having those resources, I will be able to work with these students in small groups and reinforce the phonetic skills they are lacking. My students will enjoy these resources.
