I work in a Title I school, which means more than 75% of the students are on free or reduced-price lunch.
It is so important for students to have a full belly and to feel clean to help them learn. In my classroom we have no soap dispenser so hand soap is important for us to clean our hands after bathroom visits, crafts, or coming in from recess. Something new this year is my class eats lunch at 10:15. It is extremely early in the day that my students are starving by 1. Nutriential snacks would be extremely helpful for us to get through our afternoon instruction.
