I have a class of twenty-three students who enjoy working together as a team. Everyday they are asked to come to the carpet for reading, writing, and math lessons, but find it difficult to sit in their rug spots due to the fact that we can not all fit on the rug. Having a bigger rug will allow my students to quickly come to the rug and sit down, which will then allow me to begin my lessons on time. This problem takes away much of my instructional time, and therefore disables students from learning the NYS curriculum. My classroom needs a rug where all of my twenty-three students can sit comfortably.
