In the 1st grade, students are building their reading skills. To build these skills, students need practice reading and need to be read to. I have students that are above, on and below grade level. To optimize each child's learning time and maximize reading success and growth, it is imperative for me to provide resources to each student based on their individual reading abilities.
These read-alongs will allow the students to hear engaging stories, that are specifically targeted for their current reading level. The variety of reading levels will allow me to differentiate the stories for EACH student. Please help me equip my classroom to foster strong foundational literacy skills.
