These items give my students a a sense of self accomplishment and self worth when they can organize themselves and have their own area. These items will also
teach them responsibility. The mailbox is for them to organize their papers during the day and they get their “mail” at the end of the day. This makes them feel gives them a sense of independence. The book case is to store our manipulatives and activities that the students use during independent learning time which builds skills and self confidence. The rug gives them a sense of space and is also great to use during kinesthetic learning activities.
