With this extra laptop in the class, all of the students will get an equal amount of time on the computer to research any subject matter they may need to complete a project. My students must conduct research on the artifacts right now and write an essay on how said artifacts were created and used in everyday life. I believe that this resource will greatly improve their research skills in preparation for 4th grade, where students will be expected to already know how to conduct research on various topics and subjects. This will also be a helpful resource for my students who speak English as a second language. This will help them translate most of the work and also aid with those who struggle to complete work.
