I teach kindergarten through fifth grade at a public elementary school in Charlotte North Carolina. My students are from an economically disadvantaged area but are very creative and enthusiastic about learning music. In my music classroom we Sing, Play and Move everyday. We use music as an outlet for our emotions, fears and frustrations. We love to sing, play instruments and dance. Materials are needed to even the playing field for my students. In my music class we are a family and look out for each other, we not only learn about music but about caring, sharing and loving one another. Please consider supporting the music program at my school and donate to one of my projects.
