This easel will serve many purposes in my classroom. I can use it multiple times a day during whole group instruction. This easel is magnetic on one side and has a felt board on the other. We create lessons together. I pose a question about a book and the students and I work together to develop the answers. For example I read a book and we discuss the characters, plot, setting, main idea and lessons that we can take from the reading. The students are developing a love for learning. I also use the easel to create class graphs that help them see patterns, make predictions and many other math, science, and social studies skills as well.
