My students face many challenges - especially financially. I truly believe that band offers a world of opportunities for students - but it is expensive. Many of our students borrow instruments from the school - but reeds are needed to play many of the woodwind instruments. These reeds have a limited life. They are disposable. They are fragile. They don't last forever and have to be replaced. Students have told me in the past they have to wait for a parent to get paid before they can replace their reeds. By supporting this project, you will help students continue to participate in band class on a regular basis and not lose valuable instructional time. Thank you for contributing to this project!

About my class
