My 33 fourth grade students are from a diverse community representing countries from around the world. They are an enthusiastic bunch who want to change the way our K-8 school uses its grounds. Our school draws from a low socioeconomic area and my class would also like to "feed" our surrounding community.
Along with beginning a garden, we would like to be able to do more hands-on science in the classroom. We can't wait to become true scientists!
