Since my students are so young for kindergarten many have not gone to preschool, therefore, the more toys I can get to help with fine motor skills will be crucial for their future. Holding a pencil, cutting with scissors and even opening their backpacks can be especially hard when fine motor skills are behind. These toys will help them to build skills and confidence in everyday work.
We do not have an art class in our building. Having an Art Cart for my students will help them with their creativity and imagination. It will help with storing all things art related together. It will streamline our procedures and help the kids to do more hands-on painting and creating.
