Classroom Maintenance - materials like card stock and water color will help the classroom run smoothly. I hope to use the card stock to create more sustainable classroom activities that I can re-use every year. The water colors will be use for social-emotional art projects throughout the year. Culturally responsive read alouds allow students to see themselves represented in children's books while enhancing their literacy skills. I have chosen books based on the cultures of my students. During our "carpet time" we will use these books to build a community of respect and care for each other.
