The cart will give us a place to keep our outdoor materials organized and accessible for our TK through 2nd grade students. The pump will allow me to keep the equipment properly cared for and ready for use.
Kids need to have easy access to the things they need and be encouraged to and taught how to keep things organized and properly cared for. Our current basket is a giant ball bin that many can just not use. Our pump has been taped and is hot to the touch when used. These supplies will allow me the opportunity to begin teaching them the importance of proper use and make sure using equipment easier for all involved. It will also hopefully encourage a greater pride in our students to care for the things they have worked hard for and earned.
Since beginning my position as primary PE teacher, I have been trying to teach them about basic outdoor games and activities they just haven't been shown. Something as simple as tossing a Frisbee or shooting a basketball. Thank you for your help.
