The books I have chosen to include in this project have varying genres and topics. I cannot wait for my students to walk into my classroom and peruse my shelves for the perfect book for them. My hope is that every one of my students is able to find a book that they LOVE within my classroom library. This past year has shown me that a high-interest book can make all the difference. The books we are requesting like Front Desk, The Night Diary, and I am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter will be wonderful additions to our classroom. As a second-year teacher, this is only the beginning! I appreciate all of the support I have received so far that has helped me to inspire my students to become lifelong readers!

About my class
