Hello prospective donors! My name is Bethany Crawford and I teach 7th and 8th graders at a middle school in South Eastern Kentucky. One thing I love about my job is that everyday I get to walk into my library classroom and teach my students a love for learning. I try to teach students a love for reading and introduce them to new technology concepts.
However, with student engagement comes a need for resources. With a small allotted budget at the beginning of the new school year I can only afford to purchase the necessary classroom supplies such as paper, pencils, etc. My students live in a very poverty-stricken area and a lot of them cannot afford to buy their own supplies they need for everyday schoolwork.
