Children need many books for reading group and daily practice. At these lowest levels (A-E) children need even more! Over half of my classroom of 25 fall into this category. Having these "First Little Reader books" at levels A-D will provide me with many sets of books that will be used for daily small group instruction, daily independent reading and weekly homework practice.

In my classroom I have a classroom library that helps meet the needs and interests of many children in a mixed class of 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade.
My biggest need is for the beginning readers. I do not have enough books at their skill level or interest level. Having these books will surely fill a huge need for my students.
