All of the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students would have an opportunity to make magic in the music classroom as they learn to apply their knowledge in a hands-on way with the ukulele! We would be able to learn chords, play individually and even work on group performances. We could also use the ukuleles in our school choir! We had 65 students involved in Choir in the fall.
This project would benefit a large number of students and bring so much joy, especially to those students who cannot afford their own musical instrument. There is nothing better than learning how to master an instrument, and this would really supplement our recorder program in a positive way!
