Due to Hurricane Irma, we lost the roof to our dugout where we stored our baseballs, and other equipment. Baseball season is fast approaching and we have only a few balls to practice and play games with. Also, the balls we do have are old, worn out, torn, and heavy. Our baseball program has a rich tradition; including notable alumni, that have made it to the MLB, and championship seasons. We usually have enough money to get by; however, the hurricane really set us back. Baseballs are extremely expensive, and are something we did not budget for. The kids would greatly benefit from these baseballs, and help make their experience at MSHS first class.
