Students design a drone or their dream house down to every detail. Door knobs, range tops, carpet, everything a student can imagine for their dream house. As for a drone, a students design must incorporate aerodynamics, weight distribution, vibration tolerances and over all weight. Students spend hours fine tuning their projects in CAD. Once they are finished, they send the project to me and we go load the dimensions in our 3d printer. Students get their project back with immediate results and product in hand. Our current printers cannot keep up with the demand of the students and they break a lot since we bought cheap. An upgrade in their department is vital to the continuation of this class.
