For Earth Sciences, students are supposed to be able to explain weathering, erosion, and deposition. With these tools, students will be able to explain how erosion and deposition works by creating models and being able to test it with these stream tables. This will be a great way for students to make connections to how these processes work in real life.
This will also work for my visual and kinesthetic learners to be able to see and create these models that will show erosion and deposition. In a gifted classroom, these little projects provide understanding of concepts that will help them with their understanding of science.
